Someone suggested I use brushes in the background and while originally I wanted to do it myself, in the interest of saving time and it looking a bit nicer the comic pages will employ brushes for the time being. I will continue working on my own backgrounds in my standalone drawings.
And, some news that may upset a few of you... I got all of the pages sketched for this mini comic. I must remind you all that I did say from the start it would be a MINI comic, because this is the halfway point. BUT never fear! I do plan on doing similar short comic follow-ups that will continue Zira's tale. So think of Illegitimate as "Zira's Story, Part 1." Initially I had guessed it would be somewhere between 10 and 20 pages long. Later I guessed higher, but my original was closer to accurate, with the comic coming to 8 pages.
