Tulivu looked on, stiff-legged and bitter. Her daughter hung to her leg, quivering. The healer turned away, shaking her head. "I'm sorry...she's blind." she rumbled. "For good. There's nothing we can do." Bidii clutched to her mother, sniffling in fright.
