Hermux is a fairly young skeltion. He is one of the very rare Gifted, a skeltion who possesses extraordinary summoning powers at a very early age. When he was old enough, he was sent into the mountains by his mother to find Xarix, who would help him learn summoning properly and use his full potential. Though Xarix freaks him out at first, the two soon become friends. But Eox's threat is hanging over Mardur, and when Xarix is kidnapped, Hermux must go with his friend Laneria and her 'friend' Ju'ion, he goes to save him.
