I've been playin' around with the theory that Zira's cubs are Scar and Sarabi's grandchildren.
Sarabi and Vitani actually look a like. Sarabi even has a small 'head tuft' which could have been where Vitani gets her tuft! Vitani even has Sarabi's soft cheeks!

Not trying to be rude but Sarabi doesnt have head tuft or scruffy cheeks The only place that she has scruff is her ears
