"Just leave me alone," Chaltuu grumbled.
"What?" Kapuki said, her muzzle wrinkled as if sneering.
"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" Chaltuu bellowed.
Kapuki flinched a little, but kept her ground. She had never seen her sister this angry before, ever. Never, not once in her life. Chaltuu's icy, penetrating gaze was contemptuous and disgusted. Kapuki glanced down and saw that her sister's long, hooked smoky-black claws were kneading at the soft earth, marking little dents in the ground.
"Well, well, well," Kapuki remarked snidely. "Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the nest."

Yes, "nests" are like beds in my little Lion King universe.

Does it surprise anyone that these two used to have a really close bond? xD
