She turned around, frightened.
"My... my name is Uru. Please, don't hurt me!"
"Hurt you? Why would I hurt you? Do I look that scary?" he chuckled.
"My name is Ahadi. I'm the prince of this land."
"Prince?" she said, looking startled.
"Your Majesty, I'm sorry I intruded into your land... I didn't mean to! I lost my brothers, and I've been searching for them... But I can't find them! I fear something bad has happened..."
"Where are your parents?" Ahadi asked.
"They're dead. My brothers are the only family I have left. And now I've lost them..." she said, holding back tears.
Ahadi looked at the lioness. She was around his age - way too young to live on her own.
"I'm sorry about your family", he said.
"I can't imagine what you've been through."
"Thank you for your sympathies, Prince Ahadi", Uru said and turned around to leave.
"Wait, where are you going?" Ahadi called out after her.
"I can't just let you leave. You need to rest and eat!"
"But..."
"No buts. You'll come with me. My family will take care of you."
"Well... I am a bit hungry", Uru admitted.
"Great", Ahadi smiled.
"Because my mother promised to catch a zebra with her hunting party. Come, I'll introduce you to my family."

As you can see, I've changed their colors a bit. The biggest change is their eye colors. They exchanged eyes... There are two reasons for that.
1) Ahadi is said to have green eyes in "A Tale of Two Brothers". (Well, okay, his mane is supposed to be black, and my Ahadi's mane is dark brown, but...)
2) My version of Ahadi looked ugly with orange eyes. Yuck. They fit Uru better. And green eyes fit Ahadi better.
