My apologies to all who are tired of seeing pictures of Kion... XD

I've been wanting to draw him as an adult for a while. Handsome, isn't he? I've started to like his design. I still don't understand the pawprint marking on the shoulder(s) and the stripes in the hair, but... I like the spotted legs and the Zira-like black ear stripes. It's funny, because my version of Nala's father, Jasiri, is Zira's brother - and he has those ear stripes...

I still wish he looked a bit more like Nala, but... Oh, well.

I also like the idea of "Kion" being short for "Kiongozi", meaning "leader" or "guide" in Swahili. Big thanks to the person who came up with this idea!

I have a character called Kiongozi, haha, and I was also wondering: "Could Kion just be a nickname for that...?"
But I'll never understand that pawprint or the stripes.
