EDIT: I missed a spot coloring the BG, which I fixed, and I also toned down the line-art some. :3

Anyway, I was feeling a bit down the other day, and I decided to draw out my feelings. So I kind of thought up this picture and this pose for Gemini (Fursona #2 of 3). I guess he's a little sad or hurt over something. On the left is my other fursona - Melliza, his older sister - trying to cheer him up.

I actually did a background and shading, surprise-surprise. I think this is the first digital pic I've done on here with more than one character and a real, attempted BG, so that's a plus. Not to mention it's the first real pic I've done of either of them.

This is the caption to go along with the picture, just a sort of convo I would imagine them having.

"Eh? Oh, I just... need some time alone. It's nothing, sis."

"It's not nothing. You're hurting. I don't want my little brother to hurt... so tell me what's wrong."

"Oh, well, if you must know... I don't want to burden you... but it's these lions here, Mey. They don't want to be around me, and I don't know why."

"Is there a reason for it, maybe?"

"I don't know. I try to be friends with them, but they just ignore me. It's like there's something wrong with me. Is it my stripes? I know none of them have stripes, but..."

"Gemini, there's nothing wrong with you."

"But, sist - "

"No buts. You're smart and clever and if they can't accept that, then they're missing out, little bro. ... If it makes you feel better, though, I know just how you feel."

"You? But sis... I thought everybody loved you."

"Not everyone, Gemini. Listen, brother... everybody here has their problems. Even me. The question is whether you are going to let your struggles tear you down, or strengthen you. If the lions here don't like you, then find some friends who will accept you. There's plenty of animals in the Pridelands - I'm sure you'll fit in somewhere."

"... Thanks, Mey. Do you really think I'll find someone, though?"

"Positive."

"Al... Alright. I'll trust you. But I still think I need some time to myself... is that okay?"

"I understand."

"Thanks, sis."

"Just don't get to sleep too late, alright, baby brother? We've got a hunt tomorrow!"

"Of course I remembered, Melliza."

Thanks! And I am, I just get like that from time to time. I think working on something like this helped. :3

Nice! I haven't drawn the third one yet or even really designed him, but he's supposed to be like my darker side (I know, everyone does that, but it fits). And I guess you can kinda tell the personalities of the other two from their dialogue. :3

Yep! Eoko represents my tomboyishness, Amani represents my tranquil side and Rangi represents my aggressive side (which, mind you, is not very hard to provoke)

Yeah, I think it's a part of growing up. I've been dealing with that for about 2 or 3 years now. lol
