Quite and reserved, Nyasi likes to hunt small prey on her own and relax by the waterhole. She has a few close friends in her pride, but other than that she tends to stay by herself. She's a good hunter and fighter, and an essential member of the pride. She also has a soft spot for cubs, and will protect any cub like it is her own. She has never had her own cubs, and some wonder whether she cannot have her own, and that perhaps this is the reason that she is so protective of other babies.
