Filimbi slowed his steps, his ears twitching ever so slightly. Was Kasi following him? It was rather odd she showed up at the gorge the same time he did, even if it was to bring cubs around. Not that it was necessarily a bad thing...well, sort of--it only made him feel the regret more. He let his gaze drift casually back towards Vuli. "Well, she is my best friend." he murmured, his tone a little icy. "But maybe you're just jealous." he added in a sharper tone. Then his ears lowered. He hadn't meant to say that. The young lion frowned and continued on.
