"Absolutely beautiful," Kapuki agreed. The tiny newborn, who was less than an hour old, squirmed the slightest bit and snuffled.
"Isn't she just marvelous?" Uangaze, their mother, said lovingly.
"I can't wait until she's able to see and talk to us!" Shujaa said.
But little did Shujaa know that Ua would never be able to do any of those things.
