My Lion King Forum

I felt bad. Why? Because I nearly never draw Lion King fan-art. Just art of my own characters... DX
So I decided to draw some fan-art for once! I've done two with Vitani and Nala, and one with Nala, Iri, and Chiku... and one of Simba. XD
Since I felt bad about that, I wanted to do some Lion King fan-art.
Here's little Nala! You can say whatever you want about what she's doing. She could be galloping, sprinting, running, bounding, anything!
Nala isn't a favorite of mine, but she's not hated by me either. c;
I was never able to get canon characters with the right color scheme!
I tried though. =P

Not drawing anything TLK related isn't bad. I hardly ever in fact do fan-art of anything. Even on my deviantART account you'll see OC art. Fan-Art is fun, but sometimes you just wanna draw your characters only, which can result being more fun. The reason I don't do fan-art is because the lack of ideas, and I do prefer drawing it with a good background, where I also don't have an inspiration.

So there ain't a need to feel bad about no TLK art, in fact, the MLK forums are more of OT talk than TLK (not fully, but majority prefer the off-topic posts in the The Den, Members HQ and such).

Lovely drawing though :3 for colour scheme, I'd say you're very close. You can always use a screenshot image and use the eyedropper to pick the colour. x)

Also, me being nice and stuff like always, I can recommend you FireAlpaca =) it's a free program, close to like Paint Tool SAI, and does support pen-pressure if you're using a drawing tablet :3.

Seeing your art, I think it will help you out a lot with the layers and brushes, especially backgrounds. Just being a helping hand :'3 - If you need any help on anything in art, don't be shy and ask me. I'm not a professional, but I do have a 3 year experience with digital art and layers and what not ^_^ and also I just like offering help. X3
