"You shouldn't be leader," Libaax growled.
"And why ever not?" Nunni retorted. "The lions in this pride accept me."
"Because they are brainwashed," Libaax hissed. "You're not even a lion."
"That doesn't matter," Nunni replied evenly.
"I don't want a weak, pathetic puma like you to lead us," Libaax spat. "It's time for a female to lead a pride for once."
"Females aren't suited for leading."
Libaax's claws unsheathed. This arrogant male. She lunged at Nunni and pinned him to the ground, one paw on his throat. "I'll show you if females are good enough to lead," she snarled.
Nunni seems a bit conceited, doesn't he?
