Excitedly Sungura bounded up to her mother, holding a small rabbit.
"Mama! Mama, look! I caught my first rabbit! All by myself!" Sungura yelped.
"Hmm? Oh, yeah, good job, Sungura," Sungura's mother said carelessly.
Sungura's heart sank. Her mother didn't mean that she did a good job. The sour-tempered caracal had never praised her own daughter. She had not even taken a moment to acknowledge her.
