Their father, Mfalme, and their domesticated mother, Daisy, had an illicit relationship, and even though they loved eachother they tried to stay apart as much as they could. Daisy could not survive the harshness of Africa and she ended up dying of heat exhaustion.
But no, Mfalme would not let the domestic bliss of his mate leave him.
So he raised his kits the same way the pretty calico would've, renaming them according to what their names meant. Sugar, the grayish one with her mother's eyes, would be called Sukari. The bratty blonde (who was actually named Jewel) would go by Kitwana. And Daisy's precious little boy would be called Ubinafsi. He spoiled his little kits, and did not let anyone call them mutts.
They would be called hybrids. Treated like the caracats that they were. Just because they were half house cat didn't mean they were entirely house cat. They still had caracal in them, and they were raised as caracals, and they would survive.
(Kitwana belongs to Kayo49, Ubinafsi belongs to Iri and Sukari belongs to me. Kitwana is more calico-like, Ubinafsi inhirited tabby markings from his grandfather and Sukari looks more like her father but in grayish shades. If you guys need full references of them tell me!)
