i tried to make it look as depressing as possible
cause thats how the four years was for me.
just- wasted times of my life.

and those silhouettes in the bg are shade and snow waiting for us
you can tell which one is shade cause she's taller and her glowing headband that i failed at drawing sorry sis!!
"Sis?"
I heard a familiar voice below me, and I looked down, seeing my little brother looking up at me.
"Yes, Tails?" I responded. "What's wrong?"
"What was it like those first four years before you and Knuckles were reunited?"
I thought my jaw was going to drop and fall off my skull. Memories flooded into my mind, the sleepless nights and the depressing days. Those painful memories of thoughts that he was dead, the thoughts that I would never be able to move on from him. When I was with Shadow- those days. Those days that I was just a stupid kid trying to find a solution. And when he dumped me, it was a wake up call. Knuckles was just in the next city, a simple walk, and we both wasted four years thinking the other was dead.
