Personality

Maarifa is more bashful than her brave and courageous brother. And unlike her brother, she knows that the rogue pride that killed her father are still out there and still hungry for more bloodshed. Actually, Maarifa is the exact opposite of Pumbavu. Cautious, and always sticking close to her mother. Maarifa would also rather flee then fight. Maybe she is a little too worried.

History

Maarifa was born before her brother, Pumbavu, and after Kuteseka and Uchungu were attacked by Rangi and Kuruka. Uchungu was no more than a bundle of shreds and the widowed lioness had no choice now but to bear his cubs. Maarifa never knew her father, and she never bothered to ask either. She just assumed that he was a rogue like the fathers of her playmates. The lionesses, especially Kuteseka, never spoke of Uchungu's death. The only thing Maarifa knows about Rangi and Kuruka is that even though they aren't around the area anymore, their pride still is, creating a cautious and fearful being within her.
