Because this cub would mean bad luck to the pridemembers, it had to be gone! Though is mother still had motherly feelings, instead of killing the cub, she chased it away. Hoping it would have a better life elsewhere. He came upon the Inner Kingdom and he will be the reason Uchafu will be accepted by his mother and chosen overall as King. But how that happens or how Valentino will be that reason
