Appearance:
Gamba has a hue of reddish-brown fur that is more on the brown side. His underbelly fur is a tan-golden colour. His "Pridelander" style nose is black. He has a rather round notch in his left ear. He has a black start of a mane growing atop his head and a naturally scruffy pelt. He has a brown nose gradient that is the same shade of his sister Chiku's pelt. His eyes are a brownish-amber.
Personality:
Gamba is extremely playful and spunky. He likes to sometimes act as if he isn't, but he loves to play. His sister, Chiku, often gets annoyed by his antics.
Along with being very mischievous, he can be very naive, innocent, and gullible at times, such as when he was fooled into jumping into a lake with a baby alligator to scare him. He can be easily scared and startled by certain things, especially things that jump out or pop up suddenly.
With his mischievous and innocent sides, he can also be very tough. If his family is in danger he will attack the one who is threatening his mother or siblings.
History:
Gamba is the second cub of Yekize's litter. His older brother is Hondo, and he has two younger sisters, Chiku and Iri.
He was cared for by Yekize without a father figure around. Instead of mourning over the fact that he had no father, he was glad, for he found out that his father was cruel to Yekize. He never really noticed his lack of a father, and instead looked up to Hondo and Yekize.
When Chiku got swept away by a flash flood, he was frantic to find her. Desperate, he even went so far as to invade territories just so he could search for his sister. That was how he earned the nick in his ear- being caught intruding to see if he could find Chiku's scent.
After Chiku was brought back by a wild dog named Gakere, he was forever grateful, and he felt terribly grieved when Gakere died only a day after Chiku returned.
When Yekize found a male about her age named Funsani, despite his mother's attempts to hide it, Gamba knew she loved him. He felt sorry for his mother when Funsani left Yekize forever.
