Posted: February 20th, 2014, 6:06 pmI've had a go at using a pencil drawing as a lineart for my picture above of Kiara as a baby. I'm not quite sure I did it correctly though.
I use GIMP. I'm not sure it is the same as photoshop, but I know it is pretty similar.
I got my pencil drawing and went to colours, colour to alpha. Then on a new layer I put my colours. I didn't think the lineart was heavy enough so I duplicated it a few times to make it darker.
I want to use more of this style. Does anyone know how to do it properly or another way?
I know I need to work on anatomy a bit more (this was just a quick sketch).
