My Lion King Forum

I had this comic/series of comics planned for a long time but I've never got round to making them.

I read Hamlet over the holidays last year and I really enjoyed it. I knew the Lion King was based off of it so I went about finding differences and these comics were created.

I've begun with Simba (as the others haven't been created yet!) and I hope you enjoy it.

If you don't understand anything in it I'd be happy to explain.

Simba belongs to Disney.

Trivia fact. When they were coming up with the story for the movie, they were gonna have it more like the books ending where everyone died. But they changed it after deciding it was too gruesome for a Disney movie.

Yep! I think Shakespeare went a bit OTT with the deaths in all his tragedies!
