Relations: Distant relation to Tara, but unknown to them

Position: Leader
Baruti is a very quiet and introverted lion. His father took over the pride when he was only a cub and for while he didn't get along with the other cubs or lionesses because he was only seen as the son of the cruel lion that took over their pride. As he grew into his teens his father turned on one of the lionesses, the mother of his only friend, and tried to kill her and her daughter. Baruti, despite being very quiet and hadn't trained much with his father, attacked him anyways to protect the lioness and her cub. With the help of the other lionesses they were able to chase off his father and he took over the pride. For a while, however, the lioness that Baruti saved was in charge of the pride. She taught him how to be leader, for her mate had been the lion that his father killed to take over the pride. When Brauti's mane was full grown he took over the pride. He can be a little unwelcoming of strangers but will let them stay if they need help. He's a huge softie when it comes to cubs.
