Hansel as a cub was rised by his parents a while ago with his brother Ben, after Muriel killed their parents when they got to adults. Hansel has to find someone who can kill her, when he meets Mina and Gretel he greets them to pride lands.
When Kiara and Kovu came to see Ben and Hansel they trusted them to look after Mina and Gretel, after the death of Muriel Hansel and Ben were weclomed to Pride Rock with Mina, Gretel, Kiara and Kovu and he liked being there without Muriel threat any lion in the Pride lands.
