Muriel is the foe of Gretel and Mina, as a cub she likes to threat other lions in Pride lands. When Kovu and Kiara saw her as a cub they tolled her never come near to Mina or Gretel. And it worked for a while.
As a adult Muriel chased Mina and Gretel while their first hunting, then Kiara and Kovu came to save Mina and Gretel then Muriel got chased away and she didn't come back for a little while longer.
When Kiara and Kovu finds Mina and Gretel with Ben and Hansl Muriel was killed by when Gretel chased her and Muriel fell in the river.
Also before Muriel died she has a daughter named Brooklyn that she adopted, she never had a mate in her life.
