I hope this tutorial helps you learn how to digitally draw metal. This could also be used for glass beads and other shiny objects.

Wow. We do metals different. I get a darkish colour for the metal. I start with the shading colour. Then I use a 15% occupacity screen on the brush till I have the brightness I want. Then lighten and darken in areas I want lighter/darker according to the light source with a 10% percent ocupacity on the brush.
Gives me a similar result. I might tutorial it sometime.
