I used to think they were the same age, but now I think Sarabi is at least one year older...
Sarabi, being the most responsible of the older cubs, was often asked to babysit Sarafina and other young cubs. While the other cubs often rebelled against their babysitter, Sarafina admired the older girl and wanted to be just like her.
