EDIT: [i]"Holy Jim-bean stockings!"[??]

I got featured pic of the week!! I've not gotten this since I joined here, 2.5 years ago. Some may not care, but it's awesome to me! Getting your pic on the big screen is alwys awesome..

Okay, this I couldn't belive no one else has already thought of and done. Drawing Sora from the Kingdom Hearts not as a lion, but as a tiger. Nightrizer from deviantART beat me to the cheetah Sora. But still, why not tiger? I say why yes tiger. So, I drew this up, instead of finishing an art-trade. Hehe... ^^'
I had a large drive to do this cuz I knew know one else did this, I looked up for proof, and I wanted to be first. So, Muahahahahaha! Here it is!

Please vote and fave if you like and tell me what you think! :D

It's very nice. Something seems off about the colour of his hair, but the lines are very well done, especially around the legs and paws. You did splendidly on the necklace as well.

Though I must ask, and please forgive me if I am wrong, but do I spy a bit of a Firestar/Kaisertiger influence?

The original pic does look better. Scans tends to be a tad messed up though.

Well... sorta. She was one of those tings that really inspired me to draw. I have been told my style is like hers before. I think that's cool, but I don't wanna be sen as a copier. Like fraud or no originality. I do my best to avoid that. Her style reminds me of Disney, which I admire.

Sorry if I'm babbling on, btw. ^^'

Yeah scans are problematic at times.

Ah, not at all. Your style is reminiscent of hers, but it doesn't look like the work of a copier, it has originality as well. With all the people in the world complete originality is nigh on impossible.

Anyway your drawing is nice. :)

Only with a brand new scaner they are not. And that last's... ten minutes?

Yeay! I feel kinda dumb right now. I'm wodering what nigh means exactly. I get the essance of it, but "nigh on impossible" I don't quiet get? XD

I do thank you. :D

It seems that way sometimes. I've gone more towards trying to perfect digital art to get away from scanner issues.

Nigh means "1: near in place, time, or relationship —often used with on, onto, or unto. 2: nearly, almost." So basically "nigh on impossible" means it's practically impossible, or nearly impossible, something like that.

Yeah, I got a tablet, but my PC likes dropping me for no reason, so I don't use it too much. Using Xbox 360 right now.

I was figuring that, but wasn't 100% sure if that was it. Come to think of it, most things likely would not exist to this day if things were all complete originality. Everyone has their own opinions, thus making all of those differences and putting the globe where it is now.

I wish I had a tablet, I have to use my laptop's mousepad.

Yeah, if people didn't ever expand on the ideas of others some things would be very difficult to accomplish, and art is all about being inspired, wherever the inspiration comes from, and quite often we consciously or not derive inspiration from one or more other artists.
