Here's a reference sheet for Nkosi who is my version of the first king of The Pride Lands. I didn't bother drawing him as a cub because cubbie Nkosi will appear only in one panel in my comic.

"Lighter fur on the inside of hind legs (Like every canon lion character, except Simba and Sarabi)" means that all the lion characters from the TLK movies, except Simba and Sarabi, have lighter fur on the inside of their hind legs.
And Nala and Sarafina are the only canon characters that have lighter fur on the inside of their forelegs. Ok, you understood.
