Posted: July 10th, 2012, 11:20 pmRegan stopped, feeling rain droplets falling on his face. He didn't look up at the overcast sky. He didn't look down at the mud formerly underpaw. He stared ahead.
Why did I ever trust you? The Lion had used him, just like everyone else he'd met in his life. Why did he even bother trying anymore? The Lion wanted him around until he'd chased out the last of the invaders. He wanted Regan only for his skills. Then he sent him on his way with a cruel remember of his deed.
Regan could feel the cool metal pressing against his belly fur. Never again will I be used... A single tear tracked down his cheek, before he padded onwards into the storm.
Just a short story of how Regan went from being willing to talk with strangers to the cold creature he is now. The Lion's name is currently under debate. I'm thinking it was either one of the kings after Kovu, or Kom'rins' dad. I haven't decided where Regan fits into the storyline.
This took about 20 minutes using Windows 7 Paint, and a mouse. Enjoy~
