In the ciiiircle, the circle of Scaaaar!

Hey you'll never guess who my favorite character is! Anyways this was done last week. Trying to improve with both his nose and paws, slow progress is progress nonetheless eh? Fun fact: The newborn and infant stages here are smaller than my thumb on the paper, not sure how I got any details on those. XD

I actually have him facing the way he's facing on purpose here, scar side away - save for the last frame of course. This way you can imagine him getting that scar at whatever age you like. Some people have him get it as a cub, others (including myself) think it happened during adolescence. And then some buy the story in those semi canon books where he was a young adult and somehow escapes the rage of a water buffalo with nothing more than a scar that clearly looks like it came from a lion's claw. Whatever. XD

I have two dozen problems with this and I can easily see all my mistakes, some of which are driving me crazy now, but practice is practice and I had fun with it nonetheless.
