Her parents flee to the sanctuary of the Pridelands seeking shelter from a strange string of fatal 'accidents' that appear to have befallen several other members of their pride ... and which her father believes may not have been accidents at all.
Kohu is raised alongside Kovu and Kiara's three offspring, and forms a particular rapport with the eldest boy, Tumoja. When he mysteriously disappears, she leaves the pride to find him, in an adventure that will end up changing their lives - and the future of the Pridelands - forever.
Kohu means 'mist' or 'fog' in Maori.
