Name: Nkosazana "Princess"
Gender: Female

Pride Affiliation: Rogue (Birth), Timbavati Pride (Adoption)
Voice Actor: Charlize Theron
Relations: Adoptive Daughter to Jama & Zinhle, Mate to Guduza, Mother to Sihle & Ntokozo
Nkosazana is white born. Her real parents abandoned her not long after birth for her pelt was the normal tawny colour and not white. So she was left to die in the bushvelt. She was later found by Zinhle, queen of the Pride that had made these lands her home. Her own cubs had died after a weak hunting season, but the lioness still had plenty of milk to give, and so she adopted the orphaned cub and named her ???Nkosazana???. Jama, her mate, was more than accepting when Zinhle returned with the tiny cub. In the Timbavati Pride, it was tradition to have the second-born cub as the next ruler, but Zinhle was rendered infertile after an accident during a hunt. Jama never took on another mate. And so, Nkosazana was made the heir apparent.
While on border patrol, the young Nkosazana came across a young rogue male. He was handsome with a lush golden mane and haunting icy-blue eyes. His name was Guduza. Nkosazana took him back to her parents where they began discussions into allowing to live amongst the pride. Needless to say, the discussions went well and Guduza was allowed to stay, provided he take part in border patrols and scouted for potential threats.
Nkosazana grew from happy go-lucky adolescent to a mature and respectable adult. Her relationship with Guduza had grown too, for they had become mates and Nkosazana was pregnant with his cub. Zinhle fawned over her daughter, giving her advice on how to look after the cub, how much food she should eat and how to protect her swollen stomach from getting kicked during a hunt. When the cub was born, her mate and parents were shocked to see that the cub's pelt was white. Guduza assumed that the cub wouldn't survive due to his white pelt, but Nkosazana remained hopeful for she had remembered the old legends that a white lion was a gift and should be treated well and so she named him Sihle.
One year later, Jama and most pride members had passed away from an unknown illness, and Zinhle abdicated so her daughter could rule. Nkosazana was now queen of Timbavati. The pride was small, and most of the lionesses were either too old to reproduce or too young. Nkosazana had given birth to another cub, this time a female, her hope for the future of their pride. She named her Ntokozo. Guduza mentioned that the first-born, Sihle , would have to leave in order for the traditions to continue. Nkosazana was heart-broken, but she couldn't ignore tradition. She gave the boy a choice, to stay and advise his sister, or he could leave and start his own pride. She was disappointed when her son chose to leave, but perhaps it was for the best. She would see him again one day..
