Posted: October 18th, 2011, 3:09 amKasa quietly padded over to his chosen sleeping spot for the night, flopped down, and settled into the soft savanna grasses. He lay his head on his paws and starred at his beloved mate who was already soundly asleep next to him. He let a small sigh escape. It had been almost a moon since Mickie had told him he would soon be a father and life as he knew it was about to change...but was he ready?
Restlessly, the cheetah rolled over. "Of course I'm ready!" he argued with himself, the words echoing in his head. He'd do anything for Mickie and their soon to be cubs too. Why was he still doubting himself?
"Don't worry. You'll do fine." Kasa suddenly heard Mickie whisper in his ear, "We're both a little scared, but at least you're not the one who has to carry them...right?"
"Heh, true." Kasa mewed, feeling a bit of relief, and let a warm smile flood his face.
Mickie rubbed her head under Kasa's chin to give him a comforting nuzzle "The cubs will be here sooner than we think, but I know we'll both be ready when they arrive."

Yup! 8D Mickie and I actually made those two mates a looong time ago, but now they're expecting cubbies. <33 You'll just have to wait and see how many though. We do plan on keeping them all so no adoptables from these two. ;P
I've worked on this pic for the better part of a week. T_T The background would have looked a lot better but PS decided to crash on me about half way through. *there woulda been clouds!* I'm still happy with how this turned out though.
