Before I went to see TLK 3D (which was amazing btw!), I asked for canon art suggestions.
QueenSummer replied and said I should draw Simba with Sarabi. I've never drawn Sarabi before and thought a pic with her would be fun, plus I wanted to draw something with characters from the first movie. So, here's a cubby Simba with his beloved mother. :3
I worked harder on the background in this pic than any other picture to date and I'm really pleased with it.
Hopefully you'll see more detailed bgs like this in future pics too.
