She sat on the side of the beach. After the long drive there, she convinced her self it was worth the time. The waves crashed over rocks, and slid up the beach, leaving the white foam behind. The kaw of the sea gulls could be heard in the distance. Blue eyes looked over the ocean. The sun started to set on the liquid horizon. Ships passed in and out of sight. The tension of finally meeting him started to get to her. The soft music she had playing from her music player helped calm her nerves a little. The warmth started to make her feel drowsy. Her lids felt heavy, as though weights were attached to them. Her head fell softly to the same. Sleep over coming her. The warm misty breeze caressed her soft face. A firm hand was placed lightly on her shoulder. Alerted to the new feeling, she looked up. Hazel eyes gazed at her. It was him. After such a long wait. After that whole time. She met him in person. His gentle arms picked her up. Holding her tight, he didn't want to let go. They stood there. Remembering each other embrace. They stood there. Not wanting it to end.
