My Lion King Forum

Basically, it's an abstract concept of Simba traveling through the desert. The little lizard it so totally random. I wanted to tie in the lineart on Simba to the bg more, so that's why I drew in the clouds and the rocks. Also, I picked Simba because he's got that wonderful bright yellow color.

It was drawn the summer before I started college, so I at least wanted some funky TLK art in my repertoire.

I love this picture, especially the hallusionation like swirls and the lizard playing an instrament. You have some pretty great skills.
