Posted: August 7th, 2011, 3:15 amOkay, so yesterday, QueenSummer had told me that one of her good friends had just passed away when her house burned down on August 4th. Her name was Alana, and that my character Lana reminds Summer of her, personality-wise and that the fact that they called her Lana too. And so Summer was wondering if I can make a tribute for Alana using my character, so I did ^^
The reason why I drew this picture the way it is is that I was always told that when someone dies, it rains so they can go up to heaven. And I have never doubted this because I have experienced the rain-after-death thing every time, even with pets. And as I was thinking of an inspiration to help me draw this pic, I realize that it was raining today. It was nonstop all day, but it wasn't thundering or anything, just a nice rain. So I'll take that as a sign too that Alana made it to heaven. Rest in Peace Alana, and say hi to my Uncle Chris for me! ^^
