Parents: Kiara and Kovu
Siblings: Chaka and Nama
Grandparents: Simba, Nala, Scar and Zira

Shani is the eldest of Kiara and Kovu's three cubs, but since she's a female, her parents chose her brother Chaka to be the future leader of the pride. Shani is a bit jealous to her brother and irritated because he's so full of himself. She knows she's strong and clever enough to be the leader but her parents don't agree.
