Young male Pridelander. Azari was born outside the pridelands but later accepted into pride rock by Kovu, who was king at the time. He met Marrah on one of his play hunts, and the two became friends and met up constantly without their parent's knowledge. In his adult years, he invited Marrah to pride rock, as she had been expelled from her tribe for a second time.

APPEARANCE:
Azari has dark yellow fur and very light gray markings. His mane is black, along with his tail fur, and some odd tufts on his ears. Azari has red eyes, with which he sees dismal visions of future events
