I drew this while studying the scene in my avatar. It's my first attempt at a lion-face I don't know if I should have added the shading in Simba's mane that was in the movie, but I did. I don't like the neck and bottom-right of his face where I layed on too much gray, and his nose is a little lopsided lol. Aside from that though I think it turned out great and I'm real pelased with it I was scared the eyes would be much worse than they are. Hope you like it <3

awesome! i love this scene the lion eyes seem to give me trouble when i draw them as well, but you seemed to have done great. your shading turned out nice, too!

sure! i have so much trouble with shading haha sometimes i use it and sometimes i don't because i don't have good colors and it just looks like a brown splotch haha oh well keep up the good work

Yeah, TLK eyes are pretty hard to draw at first. I learned that the hard way lol.
Nonetheless, great job Mike. This is really good for a first try.
