The young lion gazed up at the shimmering star. It had been so long since he had seen his family, As a young cub The Queen had commanded his mother to flee the kingdom before the Kings wrath fell upon her,and her son. But his mother not wanting to leave the queen,refused.The Queen knowing that the cub was still in danger met in secret with her brother who lived outside the realm. They agreed that he would take the cub,and raise it as his own. Meethu hardly remembered his "real" family, there were memories but they were rarely happy, he just remembered the glowing eyes and the smell of death and the Scar always the Scar. And Yet when he was alone like he was at this moment he felt his true mothers presence
