I know those two lines are from Simba's Pride, but they work so well for this particular storyline. For those who don't know, the cub/preteen lion in the foreground is an AU version of Kopa. He's the son of Simba and Zira, and was banished with his mother and half-siblings when he was very young. He grows up hating his father for what he's done, and vows to take back the Pridelands someday.

I actually got this Kopa character design from Kuzimu on the TLKFAA.
I really love how this turned out! I know all I seem to draw nowadays are TLK AUs but hey, they're fun!
Oh, and I tried a different technique for shading the eyes. I kinda like it, but have to get better at it
So here's evil Kopa, with a shadow of Scar in the background, for it is like Scar he will eventually become....
