This used to be an RP that me and TeenSimba were doing, I decided to make it into a fan-fiction. You can visit the RP to see plot details. And yes, it will be quite similear to it, with just a few slight changes. Hope you enjoy! :D

Chapter 1

Mvua, a young, sturdy lioness, was trying to teach her daughter Tama. Crouching down low in the grass, she whispered to the cub who was not paying attention and chasing a butterfly.

"Tama, this is importent to know! Tama, are you listening?" Her mother asked her.

"Of course not, Mother," Tama replied with a hint of laughter in it.

Mvua however was not amused as she contradicted her. "Ever lioness and lion in the pride depend on us! We bring the food...don't you understand the importance of this?"

Tama, who was still chasing the butterfly had it cornered and answered her mother while crouching down and preparing to pounce. "Mother, be quiet. See? I'm trying to catch this butterfly here." She growled lowly and grabbed the butterfly in her small paws. Tama chomped down her meager fare with relish and continued her search for insects. "I caught it, Mother! Did you see that? Are you proud?" She asked as she searched the ground.

Mvua rolled her eyes and leveled her eyes to Tama as she spoke. "Tama, you do not eat insects. They are disgusting creatures." She swiped away the bug that Tama had just caught, making her upset.

"Why'd you do that?" Tama asked indignantly to her mother who was looking proud at her.

"Because it's not good for you. Go play with some cubs or something." Mvua said with a wave of her paw while walking away.

Tama scrunched her face in anger as she stuck her tongue out at her mother. She lowered her eyes while she walked away towards Pride Rock.

--------------

Mohatu was in a lazy mood. He had basked in the sun for hours, an idea from his mother who was busy licking her paw. He finally couldn't stand the silence of the moment and eagerly strode to her mother while asking,

"Hi, Mom! Can I go with the other cubs? I bet they have a fun game to play; they always do."

His mother, Nzuri, licked her cub fondly as she answered him with tenderness,

"Of course, Dear. I fear your father is being to cruel to you, keeping you inside and bored all this time." She nudged him gently with the back of her paw and he quickly scurried towards the place where all the cubs were.

Thank you all! I'm just waiting for more critical advice lol...

Chapter 2:

Tama trotted over towards a small dirt area where young cubs were playing games of tag and fighting each other. She shyly walked over towards a girl cub that was about the same age and asked her quietly,

"If you are not busy, is it alright if I play with you? I mean..." She gazed at the ground, quite shy and waiting for the reply of the cub. The cub, who was not shy at all began crouching down and growling playfully while answering,

"Sure! I have nothing better to do," She growled. Tama, who was normally a cub who spent much time to herself, was happy beyond belief and growled back at her as they chomped each others backs and tugged each others ears playfully. That's when she noticed Mohatu. He strode in quite shyly, much like herself, wondering what to do.

"Uh, excuse me. I'll be right back," Tama told the cub as she walked over towards Mohatu. "What's wrong, sir? Are you alright?" She asked timidly as she walked up towards him. Mohatu was quite surprised and hadn't noticed her there until she spoke. He was lost for words as the beautiful cub asked him those words.

"Er..I'm fine. Who are you?" He asked.

Tama looked at the ground, playing with the dirt shyly as she answered, "Tama. What's yours?"

"Heh...er....Mohatu. My name is M-m-mmmohatu. Heh." The cub told her, very much liking this new girl. "And uh...I'm the prince of the Pride Lands!" He exclaimed proudly trying to impress Tama. Tama was taken back in surprise as she realized this. She quickly dropped down on her face and apologized,

"Oh, Sire! I didn't know who you were. Forgive me!" She cried, afraid that he may punish her for asking who he was. Mohatu was not offended at all as she took his paw and lifted her chin with it, gazing into her soft eyes.

"You may call me Mohatu. Do not be afraid of me, Tama. I am your friend," He told her.

This was truely, without a single doubt, love at first sight.
