Reign Of Darkness
The long, dark night has begun. It will be a time of grief and loss, of misery and pain.
In the gorge, a mighty king lies dead. Above, in the realm of the great kings and queens of the past, his spirit is welcomed and takes its place among its ancestors.
Atop Pride Rock, the evil new king and his equally evil queen look down upon their new kingdom. All around them, their hyena allies laugh and cackle with glee over their new home.
In the den, the former queen and her friend attempt to comfort the latter's daughter. Cuddled in her mother's paws, she weeps bitterly over the loss of her best friend.
And in a distant jungle, the former prince plays with his two new friends, the meerkat and the warthog. Little does the cub know, however, that he will one day be called from this paradise to save his home and family, to take care of his wicked uncle and wrest the throne from his paws.
The countdown to the end of Scar's reign begins now.
