The Last One Standing
The sky was bright and clear, the sun was shining over the Pridelands and a small, young cub named Simba was exploring. His friend Nala didnt want to go out to play so he went to the Lone Lands alone. He had never been there alone before but he tryed to be brave and.. he couldn't really help himself. Simba saw lots of deer and antolope. He grinned and chased after them attempting to hunt. They where all too fast and tall. "Oh come on!" He said trying to keep up with the prey. He saw a young deer about the same age as him. "Hey you!" The deer turned around to look at Simba," Huh?" He backed away scared. Simba grinned " Don't be scared.. I'm just looking for a friend to have fun with! I'm Simba!" The deer tryed to smile," I'm Bambi.. I dont have many friends.. so I guess I could hang around with you." Simba smiled," Excellent! You from here?" Bambi nodded," Yup!!" Simba ran off and tryed to climb up a rather large mountin. Bambi followed. "What are you doing?" Bambi asked. Simba rolled his eyes," Exploring, I think theres a cave up there.. come on!" Bambi started to climb up the mountin. Simba got to the cave and helped Bambi up. "There! See, no problem." Simba said smiling. Suddenly they heard a growl coming from the cave. "W-what was that?!" Bambi backed away. Suddenly a large bear walked out the cave and started to attack Simba and Bambi. The bear pounced on Simba but Simba dodged and the bear fell off the cliff. Bambi was shaking," Y-you ok..?" Simba nodded," I think so.." Then a smaller bear the same age as Simba walked out of the cave. "Did you kill my mother?" The bear asked shaking. Simba gasped," Umm.. we didnt mean it.. she attacked us!" The bear growled," Because your in our territory" Bambi sighed," Oh.. we are so sorry.. we will leave." The bear stopped them," Wait!.. Can I come with you? I dont have anyone now.." Simba grinned," Sure! My names Simba and thats Bambi!" The bear was still sad but kept his head high," I'm Koda.. "
They went for a walk near the Lone Lands water hole. Koda was still crying, missing his mother. Simba was about to take a drink when he saw lightning and then heard thunder. Bambi was scared. He had never seen or heard such a thing and he didn't know where his mother was to keep him safe. Simba was far from home but he acted brave, trying to calm Bambi down. Koda just froze, staring up at the sky. Bambi ran off in the rain. Simba followed, trying to stop him. They soon all lost each other. "Bambi! Bambi! You there?!" Simba called trying to see through the rain. Suddenly he tripped and fell down a large hill. He hurt his paw and he just lay there in pain. It felt like the end of his life. He held in the tears. Suddenly a female lion cub dragged him up the hill. She helped him to the Pridelands.
Simba woke up feeling dizzy. He tryed to remember what happened. A female lioness had saved him and brought him home last night. Then he must have blacked out. He saw the lioness outside. "Who are you?" He asked, walking towards her. "I'm Kiara. Arent you going to thank me for saving your life? I'm new in the Pridelands, I moved here after my father died. " Simba nodded," Well thanks. Did you tell my parents where you found me?" Kiara shrugged," Nope. You shouldn't have been there so I said I found you at the watering hole." Simba smiled," Well.. thanks. Alot." She sat beside her. "Your very welcome." She said smiling. Simba had made a new friend.
It was dark, Kiara saw nothing but the blackness ahead. She wasn't scared, she was just feeling upset and had to find a less croweded space so she could cry. She still saw nothin but continued ahead not knowing where she was going. She tripped and fell, she then felt herself sinking to the ground. She screamed for help but she was somewhere deserted at night. No one could hear her.
Simba woke up but it was still dark. His eyelids drooped shut again but it wasn't working, it was impossible to get to sleep. He hadn't visited Bambi and Koda in a few days and he agreed with Kiara to visit them when sun came up. On the subject of Kiara, where was she? He could barely see since it was dark but he went off to find her, because it's really dangerous for cubs to go out at night. Simba walked along the soft sand and he heard a scream. He ran towards the voice realizing it was Kiara's voice. "I'm Coming Kiara! Hold on!" He stopped and put his paw out so Kiara could hold on to it. He could see her slightly. She was in sinking mud, a very dangerous place for a young cub to be. Kiara still in panic, grabbed his paw and Simba tryed to pull her up. It took all his strength but he got her to safety. She collapsed. Simba put her on his back and took her home.
Kiara woke up and saw the sun, which means she was still alive. She could only remember Simba saving her. She had to find him so she could thank him but he wasn't that hard to find. Simba was sitting on Pride Rock looking at the sun.
