This is another little oneshot based on "Trials in the Pridelands". In this, Mufasa, who passed away while Vitani was away seeking a suitor, describes how much he loves her. This is dedicated to my castmates, who have kept the story going for so long. No bashing or flaming, please.

My daughter

Though I am gone, know that I look upon you in love

You have grown so much since you came into my life

The first moment I saw you

You were tiny and scruffy, but I loved you all the same

You were just a little cub

A little cub with eyes of blue and fur of gold

A little cub who became a princess

A princess who became a fierce huntress

A huntress who is a great asset to the pride

Most of all, you are and will always be

A princess of the Pridelands
