1,001 Nights (the PG13 fanfic)
Posted: March 31st, 2011, 4:19 amOk, perhaps I should have taken Nitro's idea and just done this as a fanfic instead of an RP. I am doing this now. The RP thread will stay up in case anyone wants to join and I will use all of the ideas that Nitro and I came up with. For now, enjoy this fanfic version. Thanks goes to Nitro and cheetahstar546. No bashing or flaming of any sort, please.

Introduction
The kingdom of Agrabah was the largest, richest and most powerful of all of the Arabian kingdoms. It was under the rule of two lions, the wise and benevolent sultan Mufasa and his beloved wife Sarabi. Their love was the stuff of legend in Agrabah, and it was this love that produced their son and heir to the throne, Prince Simba. Simba was now a handsome young man, and soon it would be time for him to choose a bride. As luck would have it, Mufasa and Sarabi had been contacted by Sultana Sarafina of Fayiz, the second largest, richest and most powerful kingdom in Arabia, who was having problems with her daughter, Princess Nala, rejecting every suitor who came to call. Sarafina had described Nala as a lioness of unimaginable beauty, and so Mufasa and Sarabi had been quick to respond, saying that Simba would be coming soon.
However, things were not as pleasant as they seemed. Mufasa’s jealous brother, Scar, was plotting to take over Agrabah and be sultan himself. In this endeavor, he was aided by his wife Zira and their daughter Vitani. Together, the family sought a single item that might aid them in their quest: an ancient oil lamp that was said to contain an all-powerful genie. However, they had one major problem: the lamp was supposed to be only a legend, and even if it was real, no one knew where it might be.
At the moment, all of Agrabah was celebrating Simba’s growth into manhood. Inside the palace, a great banquet was being held to celebrate the occasion.
