Pride Rock.
A place where Kings are born. Just one powerful roar can change everything in the Pridelands, depending on the King that's going to rule it.
But my Dad changed everything, more than all of the great kings before him ever did. He even changed the royal bloodline. He was the first King that wasn't a Lion, and he was the first Cheetah to mate with a Lion......Anyway, I should stop there and tell you more about myself.
I'm half Lion and half Cheetah. I'm a hybrid.
My name is Ritoru. It means "Little". Rafiki said I was smallest Cub he's ever seen, so my Mom gave an embarrassing, yet cool name.....But my best friends didn't think it was cool. They always call me "Small fry" which is kindof annoying...But my friends are masters of being annoying.
Kigeni is very attractive....Well, I don't think he's attractive, I'm just saying....Anyway, the females love him. He also has good manners, but he doesn't have a good sense of humour. I tried to play fight with him once, but he just shouted at me and said I was messing up his mane. Oh yeah, he also spends three hours cleaning his mane and making it look "handsome" everyday.
Hafifu is a scaredy cat. There's almost nothing he isn't afraid of. He's even scared of Ants and Flies....But the one thing he isn't afraid of is Kubwa the Rhino.
Kubwa is a very tough, and very scary Rhino. If he thinks you're talking about him, he'll suddenly charge at you and he won't stop until you jump into a River. He's scared of water......And Imara.
Imara is a Gazelle that's the same age as me. He's got a heart of gold, apparently. He's also very brave and strong. Everyone says he's a true warrior, but Majani disagrees. Imara and Majani don't get along well.
Majani is a Zebra that says he's the "Perfect romantic match-maker". I met when I was trying to teach myself how to hunt. I pounced on him and bit his butt. He wasn't very happy at the time, but we became friends after I helped him escape from some Hyenas.
All of my friends seem very weird, don't they? Well, you're wrong. Very, very wrong. I realized that after I met the weirdest Lion you could EVER meet.....
Ritoru was sleeping in the den. He was mumbling something about a Bunny in his sleep. A grey female Cub slowly walked into the den. She smirked when she saw Ritoru sleeping. She suddenly pounced on him and pulled his ear with her teeth..
Kikai...
Ritoru woke up and sighed.
"Good morning Kikai." Ritoru said.
"Morning? It's the middle of the afternoon! Come on, I have something to show you!" Kikai said.
She clamped her jaws around Ritoru's tail and dragged him out of the den.
By the way, I didn't want to be friends with her. I didn't have any choice. She just assumed we were friends and dragged me away so I could meet her family. Oh, there's something I should probably tell you.....She lives with Hyenas.
