)
QueenOfPrideRock - Isoke, Enu, Kiara
Nakisisa - Kovu, Lisimba, Human TBC
Starter:"You wanna play?" Jengo asked, sticking his rear in the air and his head to the ground in a playful position, looking up at the lionesses. The group of four females looked at the ex-Outlander and walked past him.
"We're hunting, Jengo" the lightest one spoke, leading the others away from him and he came back to his original standing position, looking down at them.
"You said that the other day, too though" the dark male stated. They only ignored him, and continued on. Jengo held his stance for a moment while watching them only to see that they weren't going hunting like they said, but rather sunbathing with some of the males of the other prides. His tail twitched and his expression was as care-free as always; he had become so used to this that it didn't even phase him. "Oh well. Might as well go and find something else to do" he mumbled. The young adult lion, though he was care-free and full of spirit, not to mention a very bounce-back-into-it kind of guy, couldn't help but wonder why he couldn't have just been like the others males and not have to come from the background he had. He lifted his head up and snorted, "no sense worrying about it! I am what I am, and I'm happy with it!". He smiled and wagged his slim tail before jolting off to find something to do.
As he came to a field, he spotted something moving in the grass. And it looked like another lion. Who it could have been, he didn't have a clue. Like the curious cat nature of him, he walked forward to get a better look of the figure.

Isoke heard the male as he approached her,his large paws treading on twigs and dried leaves,his breaths deep and booming like the wind shaking the treetops. She didn't dare turn around to see who he was and what his intentions might be,and she therefore kept wandering aimlessly across the savannah,pretending to be too absorbed in her usual daydreams to have noticed his presence. She was not a cub nor an adult,and,due to her background as an outcast with little to eat and no one to care for her,rather below average size. She wasn't strong but she was fast,fast enough to outrun an enemy. If this lion was,indeed,an enemy,she thought to herself.

As Jengo stopped walking for a moment to wonder why the female was in her own little world from the distance he saw her at, he continued on to pursue someone to play with. When they walked through the Savannah, he let his eyes wonder and take in all the sights around him. The animals around him that were running away, resembling the lions and lionesses he had tried to play with, made his playful smile fade a little and he looked down at his left side. The scars were all very much there, and very easy to see even on his dark pelt. He then turned his head to the right side, seeing no scratch there in the least.
He withdrew from his moment and looked back to the female, seeing she was getting further away. Finally, he sped up, "hey!" He called out. To her side, and then in front of her face looking down, he smiled and wagged his tail like a dog. "I'm Jengo, hi! What's your name?"

Isoke watched him for a while, somewhat gobsmacked by his approach. It occured to her that she had seen him before,although they had never talked,and she knew he wasn't the type to randomly attack females and attempt to hurt them. This realization made her relax,not entirely but almost. "I'm Isoke." she said,smiling at him.

Jengo looked like someone had just asked him why he was a lion when he heard her name. He looked like he was awestruck by the name, as it rang a new bell that he had never heard before. "Oh! I know you! I've seen you around where I live" he stated, wagging his tail still. "How come I've never talked to you before?" He laughed heartily and shook his mane, smiling down at her. "Small world".

Isoke had not seen anyone smile at her like that in a long,long while. "Yeah,it sure is." she said,beaming at him and feeling that very moment how all tension faded away. She looked into his eyes and saw nothing to fear,there was a goodness in them that seemed to embrace her,temporarily removing all traces of grief,frustration and envy inside of her heart. "I mean I..always wanted to talk to you but I guess I'm a bit..well I'm not that much of a talker,really."

"Gotcha!!!" Lisimba roared as he pounced Jengo. Laughing, he got of Jengo and smiled, "You weren't expecting me that time were you?" he asked as a breeze played across the gathering, ruffling Lisimbas mane. Although Li was an adolescent, he still acted like a cub most of the time, especially with friends. "Hey, Jengo, this your Girlfriend?!" he asked, trying to wind Jengo up, without hurting the lionesses feelings

Jengo's head rose up from his normal height and he perked his ears, hearing that a lioness had always wanted to talk to him but they never had the chance. For some reason he didn't even go near her. As he peered into her eyes, he realized why: he was always so shy to do so. She was the most mysterious females in the Pridelands he knew, and he didn't know how she would react to having someone like him come up to her and attempt to converse. He had learned when he was young that it was best not to talk to females unless they talked to him first, since he knew how much they disliked him.
"Oh, well I--" he attempted to start, but when he was cut off by his friend jumping on him, Jengo started laughing rolling with Lisimba on the ground while they wrestled. The two young male lions were the same height, but Jengo did have a lot more marks imprinted on his body. Getting back to his feet and making sure his claws didn't swipe Lisimba's perfect coat, he smiled and shook dirt from his pelt. "Lisimba," he looked into the lioness's eyes, "this is Isoke. Isoke," he looked back at his friend, "this is my best friend, Lisimba".

Isoke felt her heartbeat increase once more,yet she felt no urge to leave. She couldn't help but find this a little bit exciting as well as scary,for the young lioness had never had never had any friends her own age. She beamed at Jengo before turning to Lisimba, "It's a pleasure to meet you." she said happily.
