Simba simply rolled his eyes after pinning down Zazu. He was tired after hearing those 'boring & silly' lessons.

"Hey! Where's Nala? We can play 'kick the birdie'"

"Get off me, or I'll tell on you!", responded the angry majordomo.

"Aw, and where's the fun in that?" Nala asked, walking up to her friend and their babysitter. "Simba would be grounded for a long time if you told, and then who would keep your beak busy?"

"Simba will be a king one day and he needs to learn his lesson! Well... I... er..I... have other important stuff." He stared at Nala nervously but with a defiant look.

"Nala's right! We cubs should have some fun once in a while!"

"I have to explain to your father! How about...No!"

"Whaaaaaaaat?"

"Why must you teach him?" Nala asked. "Surely Mufasa could teach him more than you could." She noticed Zazu's stutter, and she had a feeling that his whole existence revolved around taking care of the royal family, especially Simba. "Come on. Let him take a few minutes' break, and then you can go back to teaching him."

"Because Mufasa is settling stuff with the cheetahs over some silly land dispute and... and..."

"What? Only a few minutes? I want to play the whole day!" Simba released Zazu reluctantly.

"That's better... what? The whole day?!"

"Yeah! Cuz I said so." Simba gave his most proud smile.

Nala walked up to Simba's side. "Come on, Dash. I'm sure you've been teaching him all morning. Why not let him have the rest of the day off?" she asked.

"Fine. I have to watch over my neighbor's eggs afterall." Zazu nodded with a resigned look.

"Ha! Zazu has a girlfriend!!!!!!!" Simba pointed his paw at him.

"I...I..." Zazu's face only redden. "I'll close one eye this time! Now go!"

"Zazu has a girlfriend!!!!!! Wait till I tell... oh I don't know, everyone!"

"Just go! Not a word to anyone!"

"Zazu has a girlfriend!!!!"

"Simba, be nice," Nala ridiculed. "He's giving us an opportunity to spend the rest of the day together with no interruptions. How about you drop the whole girlfriend thing, at least until tomorrow?"

"What is wrong with that, Nala! Oh look at him go...bwahahaha! He can't even fly properly!"

Zazu nodded his head before trying to continue his flight. Kids will be kids.

"Awwwwww. Okay. Bye bye birdie!"

"You really should be nicer to him, Simba," Nala said, pushing him slightly with her paw. "He's only doing what your father instructs. Would you treat your father that way?"
